2011 DePaul Softball Hitting Clinic

Come join DePaul's award-winning coaching staff and members of the 2011-12 Blue Demons team who will be in attendance to direct drills and talk about the experience of being an elite Division I softball player. This will be a breakdown of all facets of hitting, highlighted by the DePaul offensive philosophy.
Campers will learn offensive drills, offensive skills and get an inside look into what makes the Blue Demons one of the elite college softball programs in the country. Campers get a chance to work with DePaul student-athletes to improve their game to the next level. DePaul has competed in 16 NCAA tournaments in the last 18 years, advancing to the Women's College World Series four times. Please bring bat, helmet and batting gloves.
2011 DePaul All Skills Winter Camp

This camp will feature individual hitting instruction and work on individual skill fundamentals. Campers will work with DePaul softball coaches and players and learn some of the offensive and defensive skills that have made the Blue Demon program a perennial Top 25 team in the country. Please bring bat, glove, helmet and batting gloves.
The DePaul Softball Hitting Clinic and All Skills Winter Camp are appropriate for all ages. You must have a waiver signed the day of camp.
Assistant Coach Nancy Evans: The former Honda Award winner as NCAA Player of the Year in softball was named an assistant coach on Aug. 4, 2010. Evans played on three NCAA champion teams at Arizona from 1994-98, and her 124-8 career pitching record is No. 1 in NCAA softball history. She is also third all-time in career wins. The two-time, NCAA first team All-American and NCAA first team Academic All-American served as an assistant coach at Arizona from 1998-2007. In that span, she helped lead the Wildcats to three national championships, one runner-up finish and a pair of third-place finishes.
Assistant Coach Samantha Findlay: The former NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player was promoted to assistant Coach on Sept. 6, 2011 after serving as Director of Softball Operations last season and as a volunteer assistant coach with the Blue Demons in the 2009 and 2010 seasons. The former Lockport four-time, All-Stater completed her college career in 2008, leading Michigan to the 2005 NCAA Championship title with a dramatic game-winning home run at the Women's College World Series. She also led the Wolverines to a pair of Big Ten regular-season championships, two Big Ten Tournament titles and four NCAA Tournaments.
