Celaya Caps Off Season with BIG EAST Award

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - Coming off the best season of her collegiate soccer career, Morgan Celaya received her reward on Thursday night.
The senior forward from San Jose, Calif. was named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team during the conference's awards banquet at the Lakeview Golf Resort and Spa.
Celaya was the lone DePaul women's soccer player honored by the BIG EAST.
After recording two goals and one assist in her first three seasons with the Blue Demons, Celaya led the team in 2011 with four goals. She also topped the team in points with nine, shots with 44 and shots on goal with 23.
She scored three goals in BIG EAST play---one at No. 14 Marquette and once each in home matches against Connecticut and Villanova.
Besides leading DePaul in goals during the conference season, Celaya was also first in shots with 26 and shots on goal with 16.
Celaya finishes her career at DePaul with six goals, four assists, 16 points and 151 shots.
