CHICAGO - For the eighth consecutive week, No. 13/9 DePaul women's soccer has been honored by the BIG EAST Conference awards program.
On Monday, Elise Wyatt was selected to the BIG EAST Honor Roll, signifying that she had one of the league's top eight performances.
Wyatt scored the game-winning goal in the Blue Demons' 2-0 victory over Creighton last Saturday at Wish Field.
That triumph boosted DePaul's overall record to 12-0-2 and 4-0-1 in the BIG EAST. The Blue Demons are tied for first in the conference with Georgetown and St. John's.
DePaul is one of only two undefeated teams in the country, sharing that distinction with No. 1/1 UCLA (12-0-2) who plays California Monday night in Westwood.
The Blue Demons' 14-game unbeaten streak has set a program record, eclipsing the eight-game streak from the 2013 season.
This is the fourth time Wyatt has been honored by the conference this season. The junior forward was the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 8 and was previously named to the Honor Roll on Sept. 15 and Sept. 29.
Wyatt's goal on Saturday was her ninth of the season, tying her for the team lead with Abby Reed. Wyatt also has four assists and leads the Blue Demons in points with 22.
Wyatt is currently tied for third in season goals, trailing Julianne Sitch (12 in 2003) and Lea Hill (10 in 2004). Wyatt's 22 points is the fourth-highest season mark in program history.
As for career records, Wyatt's 20 goals trail only Sitch (32). Wyatt's 48 career points is second all-time to Sitch (90).
DePaul, who enters the week with a No. 31 NCAA RPI ranking, will face Butler in a BIG EAST match at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
