The Blue Demons' next postseason stop was revealed on Monday's NCAA Tournament Selection Shown as they will travel to Madison for a showdown with the Badgers, who are 18-2-2 and won the Big Ten tournament.
DePaul (16-0-4) has played Wisconsin one time, losing 2-1 in 2009 in Madison.
"Our group thought we might be in a different spot, but this is a wonderful opportunity to go up to Wisconsin and show soccer fans what DePaul is all about," said Blue Demon women's soccer coach Erin Chastain. "We will be highly motivated for this game.
"I couldn't be prouder of this team after winning the BIG EAST Championship. We'll go out, fight to the end and put ourselves in a position to win the game."
Wisconsin is the No. 4 seed in a 16-team bracket that is headed by No. 1 seed Florida State (18-1-1) who is ranked No. 2 in the NSCAA and Soccer America national polls.
A DePaul victory would send the Blue Demons into a second-round showdown with the winner of No. 19/14 Central Florida and Georgia.
Wisconsin comes into the NCAA tournament riding a nine-game unbeaten streak including wins over Illinois (2-0), Minnesota (1-0) and a 1-0, double-overtime decision over Iowa last Sunday to claim the Big Ten title.
The Badgers have outscored opponents 40-7 this season and hold a 153-79 advantage in shots on goal. Goalkeeper Genevieve Richard has a 0.32 goals-against average and 15 shutouts.
The top scoring threats are Cara Walls with 12 goals, Kinley McNicoll with nine goals and eight assists and Kodee Williams with seven goals and seven assists. Rose LaVelle has nine assists. This will mark the first back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances for women's soccer.
Last year, DePaul fell 1-0 to Indiana in a first-round match at Bloomington.
