Babicz Takes Shotput at Cardinal Twilight

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- In his final tune up before the NCAA Regionals, senior Matt Babicz tossed a best throw of 18.85 meters to win the Cardinal Twilight shotput competition on Friday afternoon.
For Babicz, the win marks his sixth of the outdoor season.
DePaul only sent a handful of athletes to the invite, but it was well-represented on Friday.
Anthony Babicz (15.56m) tied for fourth in the shotput as well and Sarah Moss (50.12m) took fourth in the women's discus. Trevor Kintyhtt (51.56m) was the runner-up finisher in the men's discus.
DePaul will await word from the NCAA regarding its National Qualifiers in the coming days.
