LEXINGTON, Ky. - DePaul softball meets Ohio in its second game of the 2014 NCAA Tournament on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT.
The Blue Demons (41-10) dropped their opener, 6-1, against James Madison last night at John Cropp Stadium and will now have to win four straight in order to take the Lexington Regional.
Ohio (32-25) fell 2-0 to the host and 14th-seeded Kentucky in the late game on Friday and will meet DePaul for the first time ever in postseason play.
Should the Blue Demons win against the Bobcats, they would play the loser of today's winners bracket game between James Madison and Kentucky -- which started at 12 p.m. CT.
With two wins today, the Blue Demons would need another pair of victories tomorrow against the winner of today's game between JMU and UK. Those games are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. CT and 2:30 p.m. CT.
