Men's Tennis Finishes at the ITA Midwest Regional Championship

South Bend, Ind.-- The DePaul men's tennis team finished competition at the ITA Midwest Regional Championship after dropping matches in the main singles and doubles brackets today.
Sten Leusink, Alex Galoustian, Conor O'Meara and Kyle Johnson were the lone Blue Demons still in the competition as Leusink and Galoustian played in the second round of singles, while Leusink paired with Johnson and Galoustian with O'Meara in doubles.
In singles action, Leusink fell to Chris Diaz from Ohio State 5-7, 6-2, 6-2 while Galoustian fell to Herkko Pollanen from Ohio State 6-2, 6-3.
For Doubles, Galoustian and O'Meara dropped their match 8-4 to the No. 21 Gabe Tishman and Kevin Wong from Michigan. The No. 8 seed of Johnson and Leusink fell to the No. 11 seed of Matt Mendez and Hunter Tubert from Ohio State 8-3.
The five-day long ITA Midwest Regional is hosted by Notre Dame at the Eck Tennis Pavilion on ND's campus and at the Lakeland Athletic Club in Niles, Mich.
DePaul's next competition is not until its dual season beginning on Friday, Jan. 15 against South Dakota State in Minneapolis.
