Track and Field Releases 2015-16 Indoor Schedule

CHICAGO - The DePaul men's and women's indoor track and field teams announced their 2015-16 schedule Wednesday afternoon. This season, the Blue Demons compete in seven regular season meets before appearing at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships on Feb. 26 and 27.
The season opens on Friday, Dec. 4 when the Blue Demons head to South Bend, Ind. to take part in the Blue and Gold Invite. The invite marks the first of four meets DePaul will travel to South Bend, Ind. for this season. Other trips to South Bend, Ind. include the Notre Dame Invitational on Jan. 23, the Meyo Invitational on Feb. 5 and 6 and the Alex Wilson Invitational on Feb. 19 and 20.
After the Blue and Gold Invite, DePaul competes in the Hoosier Open one week later on Dec. 11 in Bloomington, Ind. to close out 2015.
The first meet of 2016 for the Blue Demons is the GVSU Eubanks Open in Allendale, Mich. on Jan. 15.
A busy February features four meets, including the SPIRE D1 Invitational in Geneva, Ohio. The two-day event takes place on Feb. 12 and 13.
DePaul joins the rest of the BIG EAST indoor track and field squads on Feb. 26 and 27 for the BIG EAST Indoor Championships in Staten Island, N.Y.
The indoor track and field season wraps up at the NCAA Indoor Nationals in Fayetteville, Ark. The national event is set for Mar. 11 and 12.
