No. 9/10 Oklahoma Defeats Softball

LOS ANGELES - DePaul softball fell 6-0 to No. 9/10 Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon in day two of the Loyola Marymount Tournament.
DePaul's (12-10) Micah Fitzgerald was responsible for the Blue Demons two hits in the game.
Krista Dalgarn suffered her second loss in the circle for DePaul. She pitched five innings, walked one and struck out two while allowing five earned runs on eight hits.
Paige Lowry earned the win for the Sooners (24-7).
After a scoreless three innings, Oklahoma got on board in the bottom of the fourth with two runs. With bases loaded and no outs, Macey Hatfield hit a RBI double to left field for the defending National Champions to take a 2-0 lead.
The Sooners scored their final four runs in in the fifth inning.
In the top of the sixth with two outs and runners on first and second, DePaul's Haydn Christensen stepped to the plate, but got out at first to end the Blue Demons offensive run.
Kayla Landwehrmier pitched in relief for Dalgarn in the bottom of the sixth. She walked one in the five batters she faced.
