
Women's Tennis Drops Road Match at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - DePaul ran into a tough Big Ten opponent Friday night on the road.
The Blue Demons came out on the short end of a 5-2 decision at Purdue in action at the Schwartz Tennis Center.
The match opened with the Boilermakers (5-2) claiming the doubles point despite Keisha Clousing and Patricia Lancranjan prevailing against Silvia Ambrosio and Ena Babic.
At No. 2 singles, Lancranjan came through with a 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) win over Purdue's Alex Sabe. Milica Tesic registered a point after her 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 victory over Zala Dovnik at No. 6.
DePaul (3-3) is right back at the Schwartz Tennis Center Saturday for a 9 a.m. match against Tulsa.
