WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - It wasn't the Blue Demons' day Saturday at the Schwartz Tennis Center on Purdue's campus.
The women's tennis team lost to a talented Tulsa team 4-0 in the second of its back-to-back matches away from Lincoln Park.
DePaul is now 3-4 in the dual-match season while Tulsa improved to 9-2 including a previous win over No. 16 Baylor.
The short-handed Blue Demons had to forfeit one singles match and lost the other two. The Golden Hurricane prevailed in the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches to claim the doubles point.
DePaul opens up a four-match home stand next Saturday with a 3 p.m. showdown against Michigan State. On Sunday, women's tennis will take on Northern Illinois at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness.
