DePaul continues to offer newcomers experience leading into season

MADISON, WIS. – Wrapping up their second regular season meet of the year, the DePaul men's and women's track & field teams continue to provide experience for their young squads. Placing within the top three in their respective events were underclassmen Isabel Ingram, Lizzie DeJoie, Lorie Cashdollar, Margaret Hastings, Jade Gates, Antonio Pavloski, Kolani Cole, Charlie McIntyre, Jules Gueguen, Shane Knanishu and Daniel Toomey.

Experienced returners Caroline Mueller, Emily Eller, Adam Nelson, Chris Cadet and Kyle Hedge also saw top-three finishes within their own events. Both teams placed third with the women totaling 101.5 points in 15 scored events and the men receiving 101 marks in their 14-scored events.

Newcomer Isabel Ingram started off her first year strong as she placed first in the 60-meter hurdles preliminary race (8.91) and maintained the top spot in the finals with a time of 8.82. Senior Caroline Muller jumped her way to a second place finish with a mark of 1.68m.

On the men's side, Adam Nelson and Antonio Pavloski claimed the second and third spots in the 60-meter dash. In the field events, Chris Cadet earned silver in the long jump with a distance of 6.18m.
