CHICAGO – The Blue Demons look for their sixth straight win to open the 2019-20 season as the schedule takes them to Boston College for a Saturday matinee. Start time is set for Noon ET at Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Saturday's game can be seen on ACC Network Extra (FSN) with Ben Altsher (play-by-play) and Kerri Shields (analyst) handling the broadcast duties. Boston College is 4-1 overall this season following a 72-68 win against Eastern Washington on Wednesday. DePaul stands at 5-0 following Saturday's 75-54 win against Cornell. The game is the second straight meeting between the programs following a 65-62 decision in favor of the Eagles last December at Wintrust Arena.

Trendy: The Blue Demons have held four of five opponents under 60 points... DePaul has led for 174:33 of a possible 200 minutes this season (87.2 percent)... the Blue Demons trailed Fairleigh Dickinson for 18:31 and Cornell for 0:27... three players have not missed a shot this season with at least six attempts... BIG EAST Honors: Through the first two weeks of the season, DePaul has claimed three weekly honors from the BIG EAST Conference. Romeo Weems was named Freshman of the Week while Charlie Moore and Paul Reed picked up Weekly Honor Roll honors.
Moore averaged 19.3 points, 5.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds in the three games against Alcorn State, Chicago and Fairleigh Dickinson during the first week of the season. The Chicago native shot .606 (20-33) from the field overall including a .571 (8-14) mark from three-point range in DePaul's three victories. He also knocked down 10-of-11 attempts at the free throw line.
Weems nearly posted a pair of double-doubles in games against Iowa and Cornell while averaging 9.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 blocked shots. The Detroit native shot .467 (7-15) from the field and went 2-of-4 from three-point range.
Reed continued his torrid start to the season with his third and fourth double-doubles against the Hawkeyes and Big Red. The junior forward averaged 21.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocked shots, 3.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game during the week while shooting .731 (19-26) from the field.
Busy Blue Demons: DePaul faces a busy start to the 2019-20 season with three games in the first four days and four games in the first seven days of the 2019-20 campaign. Overall, the Blue Demons play eight games between Nov. 5-29 and the eight contests are the most in program history for the month of November. The Blue Demons played seven games in November 2012 and six each in November 2013 and 2006.
