Men's Basketball Travels to Butler for Saturday Night Showdown

Blue Demons and Bulldogs tied in BIG EAST standings as teams square off at 7 p.m CT
CHICAGO - DePaul takes the trip south on I-65 to Indianapolis for a Saturday night game against the Butler Bulldogs. Both teams are tied with Georgetown for fifth place in the BIG EAST standings and the game is the second meeting this season after Butler won in Chicago on Jan. 16. Start time at Hinkle Fieldhouse is set for 8 p.m. ET.

Saturday's game will be televised on FS1 with Jeff Levering (play-by-play) and Len Elmore (analyst) handling the television duties. The Blue Demons are 13-10 and 5-7 in the BIG EAST after Tuesday's 92-73 loss against No. 10/10 Marquette. DePaul head coach Dave Leitao is in his seventh season at DePaul and his fourth since returning to the program after leading the Blue Demons three postseasons in three years from 2002-05. Overall, the 2018-19 campaign is Leitao's 13th as a head coach at the collegiate level. Butler is led by LaVall Jordan who is in his second season leading the Bulldogs and third season overall as a head coach at the collegiate level.
