Clousing notches a point for DePaul

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- DePaul women's tennis returned to action Saturday afternoon after nearly a week reprieve.

The Blue Demons dropped a 6-1 decision to Iowa on the courts of the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Center.

Keisha Clousing continued to provide the spark for DePaul, earning a 6-1, 5-7, 10-8 win at the No. 1 position over the Hawkeye's Samantha Mannix. The senior from Wheaton, Ill. picked up her fifth win in a row and now sits at 5-2 in dual season play.

Coach Mark Ardizzone and DePaul (3-4, 2-0) will take the week to prepare before traveling to Denver, Colo. for two matches on Feb. 16 and Feb. 17 against Wisconsin and Denver.
