Blue Demons set for match at Cleveland State on Saturday
EAST LANSING, Mich. — In their fifth matchup against a Big Ten opponent this spring, the DePaul women's tennis program fell to the Spartans of Michigan St., 4-0.
On the courts of the Michigan State Indoor Tennis Facility, DePaul dropped the doubles point to fall behind 1-0 despite the 6-0 victory at the No. 2 position by Milica Tesic and Marija Jovicic over the Spartans' Samantha Memije and Nicole Stephens.
In singles action, Milica Tesic and Maddie Yergler fell at the No. 4 and No. 5 positions respectively, as the Spartans clinched the match 4-0.
DePaul (4-8, 2-0) will travel to Cleveland State on Saturday for another road matchup set for 1 p.m.
