Blue Demons Meet Red Storm on Senior Day Sunday

CHICAGO - DePaul plays the final two home games of the regular season on Sunday and Wednesday as St. John's opens the homestand Sunday at Wintrust Arena. Following Sunday's game, DePaul's senior class of Eli Cain, Femi Olujobi and Max Strus along with senior managers Nina Goodhue and Maya Scanlon-Kimura will be honored. Start time Sunday at Wintrust Arena is set for 11 a.m.

Sunday's game will be televised on FS1 with Lisa Byington (play-by-play) and Dickey Simpkins (analyst) handling the television duties. The game can also be seen online via the FOX Sports Go app and at foxsportsgo.com. DePaul's radio tandem of Zach Zaidman (play-by-play) and Jeff Blanzy (analyst) can be heard on WSCR 670 AM as well as online on DePaul All-Access at www.depaulbluedemons.com. St. John's is 20-9 overall this season and 8-8 in BIG EAST play. The Red Storm enters Sunday's contest following an 84-73 loss against Xavier on Thursday. The Blue Demons are 13-13 and 5-10 in the BIG EAST after Wednesday's 82-73 loss at Georgetown. DePaul head coach Dave Leitao is in his seventh season at DePaul and his fourth since returning to the program after leading the Blue Demons three postseasons in three years from 2002-05. Overall, the 2018-19 campaign is Leitao's 13th as a head coach at the collegiate level. St. John's is led by Chris Mullin who is in his fourth season leading the Red Storm and fourth season overall as a head coach at the collegiate level.

Demon Doings: Notes following DePaul's 82-73 loss at Georgetown on Wednesday

Eli Cain played in his 120th career game... his first basket made him the 12th player in program history with 1,500 career points.
Devin Gage's five assists gave him 100 for the season.
Paul Reed posted his fifth double-double of the season... was also his 14th game with 10 or more points.
Max Strus recorded his 23rd game in double figures and ninth game of at least 20 points this season... Strus passed Ken Jaksy (1953-56, 938 pts.), Jesse Nash (1961-65, 940 pts.) and Mike Gillespie (1971-74, 955 pts.) and is in 55th place on DePaul's all-time scoring list.
