DePaul Drops Pair of Games on Day Two of Red and White Showcase

HOUSTON, TX. - The Blue Demons dropped both of their Saturday contests in Red and White Showcase play. This alters DePaul's record to 15-3 on the season.
Game 1 - DePaul 0, Texas State 3
First, Texas State topped DePaul in a pitcher's duel where the Blue Demons made many strong attempts but could not get on board.
TSU scored all three of its runs in the third inning and neither team put up any runs in the remaining innings.
Game 2 - DePaul 0, Houston 8
Houston got on the board early, plating their first three runners in the first inning.
The Cougars added on one run a-piece in the second and third innings and tacked on their final two in the fourth inning to get the redemption win over DePaul.
The Blue Demons will play on final game in the Red and White Showcase tomorrow as they take on Wichita State at 9:00 a.m. CT.
