Blue Demons and Red Storm split two-game series in Queens
QUEENS, N.Y. – The third game of the DePaul-St. John's series was cancelled due to inclement weather in New York on Saturday. The two teams split a doubleheader on Thursday to open the BIG EAST series between the top two teams in the conference.
DePaul returns to action next weekend when Creighton visits Cacciatore Stadium. The three-game series opens with Noon doubleheader on Saturday followed by an 11 a.m. game on Sunday.
The Blue Demons are 30-10 overall and in second place in the BIG EAST standings with a 9-2 conference record.
