DePaul Travels to Creighton for Saturday Evening Showdown

Blue Demons look to even season series against Bluejays
CHICAGO – DePaul travels to Creighton for a Saturday evening game at CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Neb. The Blue Demons are playing for the first time since a 76-72 loss at Georgetown last Saturday while the Creighton game precedes back-to-back games next week at Wintrust Arena against Villanova and Georgetown. Start time on Saturday between the Blue Demons and Bluejays is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Saturday's game can be seen on FS1 with Jeff Levering (play-by-play) and Dickey Simpkins (analyst) handling the broadcast duties. Creighton - ranked No. 23 in this week's AP poll and No. 21 in the coaches top 25 - is 19-6 overall and 8-4 in the BIG EAST following an 87-82 win at No. 10/10 Seton Hall on Wednesday. DePaul stands at 13-11 and 1-10 in league play after the loss at Georgetown last Saturday.
Blue Demons vs. Top 25: No. 10/10 Seton Hall was the third ranked opponent of the season for the Blue Demons. Butler was DePaul's second straight ranked opponent following the game at No. 14/15 Villanova. A year ago, the Blue Demons posted a 1-3 record against ranked opponents.
With its No. 5/5 ranking, Butler was the highest-ranked opponent to visit Wintrust Arena since No. 3/4 Xavier on March 3, 2018. The Musketeers defeated the Blue Demons, 65-62, in that game. The 2017-18 season also saw No. 1-ranked Villanova at Wintrust Arena.
