Turner Earns Second-Straight BIG EAST Honor Roll Nod

Turner scored twice in DePaul's win over Seton Hall on the road
CHICAGO - DePaul women's soccer forward Morgan Turner was named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll for the second consecutive week, as announced by the league on Monday. Turner scored twice in DePaul's 3-0 win over Seton Hall last Thursday.
Turner kicked off the scoring in South Orange, N.J., knocking in a first-half goal after outrunning the Seton Hall defense on her way to the goal. Turner added the Blue Demons' third goal of the game on a penalty kick attempt in the second half. The two-goal performance came after a hat trick against Villanova in a 3-2 win back on Oct. 3.
Turner is now up to nine goals this season and has 31 during her career as a Blue Demon. Turner sits in fourth place all-time in the program history goal-scoring ranks. Turner needs to surpass Elise Wyatt's 35 career goals to take over the all-time record. During her career, the Blue Demons are 17-1-1 when Turner finds the back of the net.
The DePaul graduate student has now been named to four BIG EAST honor rolls this fall. Turner leads the BIG EAST with five goals in conference play while the next highest total in the conference is three scores.
The Blue Demons continue BIG EAST action this week by hosting Xavier on Wednesday in Chicago before traveling to Indianapolis to take on league-leading Butler on Sunday.
