Blue Demons and Flames meet Tuesday night at Credit Union 1 Arena
CHICAGO – DePaul plays at UIC on Tuesday night in the second of three straight road games to conclude the non-conference portion of the 2021-22 schedule. The Blue Demons opened the three-game swing with a 62-55 victory at Louisville on Friday night before playing at UIC on Tuesday and at Northwestern on Saturday. DePaul opened the season by winning seven of eight games at Wintrust Arena.
Tuesday's game can be seen on ESPN+ (watchespn.com) starting at 7 p.m. with Jonathan Hood (play-by-play) and Kenny Williams (analyst) handling the broadcast duties. UIC enters the game at 3-6 overall and 0-2 in the Horizon League following a 71-67 non-conference win at Central Michigan on Saturday while DePaul is 8-1 after the seven-point win at Louisville on Friday.
BIG EAST Four-for-Five: A DePaul player has claimed either the BIG EAST Player of the Week award or been named to the league's weekly Honor Roll in four of the first five weeks of the season. Javon Freeman-Liberty was Player of the Week in each of the first two weeks before picking up Honor Roll mention in week three while David Jones added his first Honor Roll recognition this week.
