DePaul Travels to Omaha for Wednesday Night Game at Creighton

Blue Demons and Bluejays set for 8 p.m game on CBS Sports Network and 670 The Score
CHICAGO – DePaul wraps up a three-game road trip with a Wednesday trip to Creighton. The Blue Demons have split the first two games following an eight-point defeat last Wednesday at Seton Hall and five-point win at St. John's on Saturday. The Creighton game is final road game of the regular season as the Blue Demons host Georgetown and Marquette at Wintrust Arena on Feb. 27 and March 2.
Wednesday's game can be seen on CBS Sports Network starting at 8 p.m. with Tom McCarthy (play-by-play) and Jim Spanarkel (analyst) handling the broadcast duties. Creighton enters the game at 16-5 overall and 12-4 in the BIG EAST after an 86-70 win against No. 5/4 Villanova on Feb. 13. The Blue Demons are 4-10 overall and 2-10 in the BIG EAST following an 88-83 win at St. John's on Saturday.
Moore Named BIG EAST Player of the Week: Charlie Moore picked up his first Player of the Week honor this season after he led the Blue Demons to a win at St. John's on Saturday. Moore earned weekly honor roll mention earlier this season and the honor is his first Player of the Week recognition.
Moore set or matched season highs in points, rebounds and assists on Saturday night. He posted season highs of 24 points and six rebounds while matching high season high with eight assists. The Chicago native went 6-for-6 at the free throw line including four makes in the final 1:06. Overall he was 8-for-13 (.615) from the field including 2-for-3 (.667) from the behind the arc and added a steal in 32:21 off the bench.
He is the first DePaul player to be named Player of the Week since Max Strus was selected three times during the 2018-19 season.

- DePaul shot a season high .630 (34-54) from the field… the last time DePaul shot higher than .600 from the field was Nov. 11, 2019 at Iowa… the Blue Demons shot .614 (35-57) against the Hawkeyes.
- The .630 field goal percentage was the highest since the Blue Demons combined to shoot .667 (38-57) from the field in a 109-61 win over Chicago State on Dec. 17, 2016.
- Oscar Lopez Jr. played for the first time since Dec. 27 at Providence… Charlie Moore also returned to the court after missing the last two games with a left knee injury.
