Softball Adds Three Games to May Schedule

Blue Demons welcome UIC, Western Illinois to Cacciatore Stadium
CHICAGO – The DePaul softball team has announced the addition of three non-conference matchups for May 7-8. The Blue Demons will welcome UIC and Western Illinois to Cacciatore Stadium for a trio of games across two days.
On Friday, May 7 DePaul (19-9, 10-1 BIG EAST) will matchup against UIC for the first of two meetings with first pitch set for 2:30 p.m. The two squads will face off again on Saturday, May 8 at 10:30 a.m.
DePaul will close out the weekend with a contest against Western Illinois on Saturday, May 8 at 1 p.m. The Leathernecks and Blue Demons last met on Feb. 14 with Western Illinois claiming an 8-7 win in eight innings.
Western Illinois and UIC will play a neutral site contest at Cacciatore Stadium at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
