Women's Tennis Concludes ITA Midwest Regional Run

Antonijevic and Kizelbasheva fall in Sunday's quarterfinal doubles match
URBANA, Ill. – DePaul's run at the ITA Midwest Regional came to a conclusion Sunday at the Atkins Tennis Center.
Lenka Antonijevic and Yuliya Kizelbasheva had advanced to the quarterfinals where they were upended on the tournament's final day 8-3 by Wisconsin's Antonela Stoica/Alina Mukhortova.
The dynamic DePaul doubles team had already reached its goal the day before. By advancing to the quarterfinals, Antonijevic and Kizelbasheva had qualified for the ITA Super Regional Oct. 22-25 in Columbus, Ohio.
Until then, coach Marisa Arce and her tennis team will focus on next weekend's Eagles Invitational hosted by Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti.
