Blue Demons set to play final matches of season No. 18-19
CHICAGO – CHICAGO – DePaul volleyball returns to McGrath-Phillips Arena for its final matches of the 2022 campaign, Nov. 18-19. The Blue Demons will host No. 11 Creighton on Friday at 7 p.m. before welcoming Xavier to Chicago on Saturday at 6pm.

Both matches will stream live on FloVolleyball with tickets available here. DePaul will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Title IX on Friday before honoring graduating senior Bailey Nelson prior to Saturday's match.

DePaul (9-19, 5-11) is led by preseason All-BIG EAST selection Jill Pressly with 3.88 kills per set while collecting 3.01 digs per set. Bailey Nelson and Taylor Underwood add to the offensive attack with 2.51 and 2.47 kills per set, respectively. Maggie Jones, who recently surpassed 1,000 career assists, has quarterbacked the offensive attack while libero Rachel Krasowski ranks second in digs across conference liberos with 5.00 digs per set.
No. 11 Creighton has won 16-consecutive matches and enters the weekend 24-3 and 16-0 in BIG EAST action. Senior outside hitter Norah Sis leads the way with 4.16 kills per set while Keeley Davis averages 2.34 kills and 3.18 digs per set. All-BIG EAST selection Kendra Wait paces the offense with 11.06 assists per set.

Xavier sits at 18-8 and 11-5 heading into the final weekend of the BIG EAST action and have won eight of its last 10 matches. Senior Brooklyn Cink ranks fifth in the league with 3.42 kills per set while middle blocker Delaney Hogan has totaled a .302 hitting percentage through 26 matches on the 2022 campaign. Carrigan O'Reilly carries the Musketeers offense with 8.86 assists per set.

The Bluejays hold the overall series against the Blue Demons 20-1 with DePaul dropping the previous meeting on Oct. 16 in five sets. Xavier and DePaul will meet for the 30th time on Saturday. The Musketeers hold a 21-8 edge including a 3-1 victory on Oct. 14 at Cintas Center.Â
