Blue Demons welcome Hoyas for conference clash at 5 p.m.
CHICAGO – DePaul women's basketball returns to action on Sunday when Georgetown visits Wintrust Arena for a BIG EAST Conference clash slated for 5 p.m. Live coverage will be carried by the BIG EAST Digital Network available on FloHoops with Matt Rodewald and Patricia Babcock-McGraw on the call. A Look at the Blue Demons
DePaul (8-3, 1-0 BIG EAST) enters Sunday's match up winners of four in a row and seven of the last eight games.
Last time out, the Blue Demons claimed an 81-56 win over Howard on Monday behind four in double figures led by Darrione Rogers' 22-point, 11-rebound, 11-assists performance to record the sixth triple-double in program history.
On the season, All-American Aneesah Morrow has led the way averaging 26.1 points per game (4th nationally) and 12.1 rebounds per game (7th nationally) while recording eight double-doubles. Morrow's 35 career double-doubles rank 13th among active Division I players while her 22.9 average through 44 games is good for second nationally.
Rogers is posting a career-high 19.5 points per game in addition to 6.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds. A three-level scorer, Rogers is posting 3.45 three-point field goals per game to rank third in the nation.
Kendall Holmes has totaled 10.1 points per game and is connecting from downtown at a .397 clip.
As a team, DePaul holds a +8.2 margin on the glass and have bested opponents on the boards in nine of 11 games this season. With 44.45 rebounds per game, the Blue Demons are top-20 in Division I and 13th on the offensive glass (17.0 per game).
Scouting Georgetown
The Hoyas are 7-3 and 1-1 in BIG EAST action thus far on the 2022-23 season and land in Chicago winners of three straight including a league win over Xavier.

Freshman guard Kennedy Faunterloy leads three Hoyas averaging double figures with 11.5 points per game to go with a team-best 35 assists. Kelsey Ransom adds 11.1 points per game in addition to 6.9 rebounds a contest.

As a team, the Hoyas are putting up 62.9 points per game and hold a +4.3 margin on the boards through 10 games.
