DePaul (10-4, 3-0 BIG EAST) has won six of their last seven games and currently sit atop the league standings alongside Connecticut and St. John's after defeating Providence 78-69 on Wednesday evening.
Against the Friars, sophomore forward Aneesah Morrow led the way with 29 points to go with 19 rebounds for her 10th double-double this season and 37th of her career. The Chicago native ranks fourth in the nation in points per game (25.8), fifth in rebounds (12.0) and third in double-doubles (10).
Darrione Rogers has turned it up a notch in her junior season, averaging nearly 20 points per game (19.9) along with 5.7 assists per game. Rogers' 80 assists on the year ranks 10th nationally while her 3.7 three-pointers per game is good for 11th.
As a team, the Blue Demons have won the rebounding the battle in 10 of 14 games this season including a 38-35 advantage over Providence. DePaul's 43.4 rebounds per game and 9.6 steals per game are both league bests.
About Creighton
The Bluejays, ranked No. 21 by the Associated Press and WBCA Coaches' Poll, are 8-4 and 2-2 in BIG EAST play. Creighton has lost four of their last five games over a formidable stretch including matchups against No. 2 Stanford, then-No. 21 Arkansas and No. 8 Connecticut.
Lauren Jensen, Morgan Maly and Emma Ronsiek are each averaging double figures with Jensen pacing the pack with 16.4 points per game. Maly is a threat on the boards with a team-best 76 rebounds (5.3 rpg).
Creighton tends to take care of the ball, averaging the fourth-fewest turnovers in Division I at 11.2 per game.
Jim Flanery is in his 21st season at the helm of the program and led the Bluejays to an Elite Eight appearance a season ago.

The Blue Demons hold a 16-6 edge over the Bluejays in the all-time series, however recent history has been a back-and-forth affair. In the last four seasons dating back to 2018-19 the two sides have split the regular season series with the road team picking up the victory in all eight meetings. Overall, DePaul is 8-4 in games played in Chicago.
