DePaul Plays Host to Blue Demon Holiday Invite

Action set to begin at 2 p.m. at Gately Indoor
CHICAGO – DePaul Track & Field is set to host the Blue Demon Holiday Invite on Friday at Gately Indoor in Chicago. The meet is set to begin at 2 p.m. CT.
The Blue Demons will see action in 19 different events throughout the field and the oval.
Darius Brown will be back in action after setting a new school record in the 60m hurdles at the Blue & Gold Invitational on Dec. 2, 2022. He will be participating in the 60m hurdles, as well as the men's 4x400m.
Freshman Jaiah Hopf will make her home debut for the Blue Demons after smashing two programs records in her first collegiate meet. Hopf broke the women's triple jump records twice, landing a 12.47m finish.
There will be eight other schools participating at the Blue Demon Holiday Invite, including local flavors Chicago State, UIC and Loyola and BIG EAST foes Butler and Marquette. Rounding out the competition is Illinois State, Indiana State and Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
