Anna Wohlers Earns BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Distinction

Wohlers drove in six runs and scored three times in series win over Creighton

CHICAGO — DePaul's Anna Wohlers has landed on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after lifting DePaul to a series win over Creighton last weekend. Wohlers adds a fourth weekly recognition to her name after earning Freshman of the Week on March 14 before sweeping both Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week on April 4.

Across a three-game set in Omaha, Wohlers batted .333 with a pair or extra base hits including her sixth home run of the season. The Davenport, Iowa native totaled a team-best six RBI on the weekend including three in Friday's series-opening 9-4 win and two in the series clinching 9-3 victory. Wohlers crossed the plate three times and also drew an intentional walk.

DePaul will close out the regular season May 6-8 with a BIG EAST series at Providence before returning home to host the 2022 BIG EAST Tournament in Rosemont, Ill., May 12-14.
