CHICAGO – Despite a season-high 25 points by Jeremiah Oden, DePaul men's basketball couldn't slow down a strong second half by Iowa State, Friday evening inside Wintrust Arena. The Cyclones won 99-80 as Oden led all scorers.
Oden had a career-best performance from three, shooting 6-of-7 in addition to four rebounds. Back-to-back threes from Oden and Raimey shut down the Cyclones 21-2 run to open the second half. Nelson converted eight points in 70 seconds of play to keep the Blue Demons offensive effort alive, but Iowa State's defensive efforts helped maintain their lead.
