DePaul Faces First Road Test at #21/19 Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS – DePaul men's basketball hits the road for its first true away game of the season, Wednesday, Dec. 6 as they play at #21/19 Texas A&M. The two teams, who meet for the second-consecutive season, will tip off at 8 p.m. CT on SEC Network with Dave Neal and Mark Wise. LAST TIME OUT
Jeremiah Oden scored a season-high 25 points on 6-of-7 shooting from three-point range against Iowa State on Friday. Oden registered his career-high made threes as a part of the Blue Demons season-high nine made three-pointers. Oden leads DePaul this season with 4.3 rebounds per game and is second in scoring with 13.3 points. Chico Carter Jr. is the Blue Demons scorer and assists leader with 13.4 points and 4.4 assists per game.
As a team, DePaul ranks 51st nationally and third in the BIG EAST with a 37.8 three-point percentage. Oden and K.T. Raimey are shooting 46.7 and 45.5 percent, respectively, from deep.
Against Iowa State, DePaul went toe-to-toe with the Cyclones in the first half shooting 63.6 percent from three. The Blue Demons weren't able to hold off Iowa State as a strong second half allowed the Cyclones to take the win.
THE SERIES
Wednesday marks the third all-time meeting between the two programs, after meeting last season for the first time in 17 years. Texas A&M holds a win in both meetings, while Wednesday marks the first meeting in College Station. The Aggies won at Wintrust Arena last year, 82-66.
SCOUTING TEXAS A&M
Texas A&M holds a 6-2 record, including 2-0 at home this season. The Aggies are coming off a 59-47 loss at Virginia over the weekend as a part of the ACC/SEC Challenge.
A&M ranks first nationally with 18.00 offensive rebounds per game and is 11th in rebound margin. The Aggies have two players in Henry Coleman III and Andersson Garcia who both rank top-30 nationally in offensive boards. Wade Taylor IV leads the Aggies in scoring with 18.6 points per game.

DePaul turns its attention to a packed December schedule, that begins with the BIG EAST-Big 12 Challenge matchup against Iowa State, Dec. 1. The game is slated for a 7:30 p.m. tip off on FS1.
