DePaul Softball Releases 2024 Schedule

Blue Demons host 14 matchups at Cacciatore Stadium
CHICAGO - DePaul softball head coach Tracie Adix-Zins announced the 2024 schedule, Tuesday afternoon. The 49-game slate features matchups against six programs that participated in the 2023 NCAA Tournament, including Northern Kentucky, UCLA, Texas A&M, Florida, Northwestern and Seton Hall.Â
DePaul will open its season at the UNCW Tournament, hosted by the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The next weekend of play will be in Arlington, Texas at the Maverick Invitational at UT Arlington.Â
The Blue Demons head to Tennessee for their third tournament of the campaign, hosted by Memphis. The fourth and final tournament of the season takes DePaul to the west coast where the Blue Demons will participate in the Judi Garman Classic in Fullerton, Calif. The Judi Garman Classic features three games for DePaul against 2023 NCAA Tournament teams.
DePaul opens conference play in Lincoln Park on March 8-10, as the squad hosts Georgetown. The second weekend of conference play sees the Blue Demons head out to UConn, March 15-17.
DePaul takes on two local non-conference foes during the month of March as they play at Northwestern March 19 and at Northern Illinois March 26. The March schedule is rounded out with a homestand against St. John's, March 29-31.
April opens with a non-conference matchup with Illinois State at Cacciatore Stadium on April 2, and continues with another homestand against Butler on April 5-7. The Blue Demons hit the road to Iowa State for a single-game matchup on April 9, followed by a road BIG EAST weekend in Providence from April 12-14. The month concludes with a homestand against Villanova April 19-21 before the final non-conference matchup on April 23 against Illinois.
The Blue Demons wrap up their regular season with two away weekends, against Creighton on April 26-28, and Seton Hall May 3-5.Â
The BIG EAST Tournament is set to be held at Providence from May 8-11.
Ticket information, including season and single-game tickets, will be available soon. Television coverage and remaining game times will be announced at a later date.
