Blue Demons lead all-time series with Musketeers 24-1
CHICAGO – DePaul women's basketball returns home for the first time in two weeks when the Blue Demons host Xavier on Saturday, February 4 at Wintrust Arena. Tipoff is slated for 3 p.m. CT with coverage on the BIG EAST Digital Network carried on FloHoops.
The Blue Demons will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day as well as the Kay Yow Foundation with the annual pink game.

DePaul heads into the clash with Xavier 11-11 and 4-7 in BIG EAST action after falling to Creighton on the road on Wednesday by a score of 83-74 at D.J. Sokol Arena.
In the setback, Aneesah Morrow recorded her fifth 30-point performance of the season with a game-high 34. Just this week, the sophomore reeled in a pair more accolades including a mention on the Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 and the Katrina McClain Award Top 10. Morrow ranks fourth nationally in scoring and six in rebounding while collecting 17 double-doubles this season.
Against the Bluejays, junior guard Darrione Rogers notched a career-high 12 assists while Keke Rimmer added 12 and 10 points, respectively. Freshman Tara Daye saw a career-high 28 minutes of action and notched 10 points along with seven rebounds.
The Blue Demons rank second in the BIG EAST in scoring (76.1 ppg) and rebounding (41.1) in addition to landing third in assists per game (16.3) and second in steals (8.8).
About Xavier
The Musketeers enter Saturday's matchup 7-15 and 0-13 in league play. Most recently, Xavier dropped a 44-41 game against Georgetown on Tuesday. Through the last two games, the Musketeers combined margin of loss was just five points.
Mackayla Scarlett paces the Musketeers with 11.4 points per game while dishing out a season-high 57 assists this season. Taylor Smith and Fernanda Ovalle are chipping in 10.9 points a contest.
Mel Moore is in her fourth season at the helm in Cincinnati and owns a record of 24-73.
