DePaul Readies for Three Meet Weekend

The outdoor season continues in California and Kentucky
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field continues their outdoor season on Friday and Saturday as they compete at three different meets across the country. The Blue Demons will see action at the Jim Freeman Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky, as well as the Mt. SAC Relays and the Bryan Clay Invitational in California.
Friday's slate will begin in Louisville at 12 p.m. CT with the men and women's weight throws. Alex Bernstein and Ben Litwin will compete on the men's side with Billie Martin representing the Blue Demons on the women's side.
On the west coast, Olivia Borowiak will compete in the women's elite 5000m at the Mt. SAC Relays on Friday night, scheduled to begin at 11:25 p.m. CT.
Saturday's action filled day begins at the Jim Freeman Invitational in Louisville. Clayton Kamp, Noelle Malkamaki and Kindle Miles will compete in throwing events which are set to begin at 11 a.m. CT. Tori Carroll, Eveline Reno and Alicia Jones will compete in the field events for the Blue Demons, beginning at 1 p.m. CT.
On the oval, DePaul will see action in 16 events. Jacob Holmes and Joe Knanishu will compete in the men's 1500m at 12:50 p.m. CT, while Nina Amicon and Meghan Dieball will follow on the women's side. Darius Brown and Myles Marshall will take on the 110m hurdles. Amberly Valeriano and Isabella Hildtich will run the women's 100m hurdles.
Saturday's action will cap off with the Bryan Clay Invitational in California where Shane Knanishu and Damian Rodriguez are competing in the 1500m.
