Blue Demons Welcome Churchill Abass

CHICAGO – DePaul men's basketball officially announced the addition of incoming freshman Churchill Abass to the Blue Demons 2023-24 roster, Tuesday afternoon. Abass comes to Chicago from the NBA Africa Academy where he was teammates with Dramane Camara, who signed with DePaul in April.
"From the moment we first saw Churchill play we knew he was a special talent," said head coach Tony Stubblefield. "He possesses everything we look for in players from athleticism to a relentless effort on the defensive end. We're excited to get him here to Chicago and see his continued development over the next several years."
Abass is currently ranked as a four-star prospect and No. 81 nationally by On3. A native of Nigeria, Abass was a breakout performer at the National Prep Invitational where he showcased an impressive skill set in the paint with a 7'2" wingspan and 38" vertical jump.
Standing at 6'9" and 245 pounds, Abass joined the Basketball Africa League's Elevate program in March 2022. He was one of 12 NBA Academy Africa players selected to participate in the program, designed to help players gain experience at a professional-like level. Abass most recently played with US Monastir, the 2022 BAL Champions.

2023-24 TICKET INFORMATION
Season ticket renewals for the 2023-24 season are now open. Current holders have the option to renew their existing seat location or elect for an optional seat upgrade. Existing season ticket holders who renew by May 31 will lock in their same season ticket price from the 2022-23 season.
Those looking to purchase 2023-24 season tickets can place a $25 per-seat deposit to lock-in their priority for seat selection this summer.
