Oregon State Transfer Kali Blount Joins Blue Demons

Blount comes to Lincoln Park from La Verne, Calif.
CHICAGO - DePaul softball head coach Tracie Adix-Zins announced the signing of Kali Blount on Wednesday, Aug. 30. Blount is a redshirt freshman who comes to Lincoln Park after spending a season at Oregon State.
"I'm very excited to add Kali to our team for the 2024 season," said Adix-Zins. "She will be a great addition to our program and we are very eager for her to join us on campus."
Blount attended Bonita High School and graduated in 2022. She helped lead the school to a 28-6-1 record and a CIF Division 2 Championship. Blount owned a .302 batting average and tallied 24 RBI and 29 hits. She was also awarded the Scholar-Athlete Award and Varsity Athletic All-League Award and named to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune's All-Area Team. Blount was also a member of the Firecrackers TJ.

Blount plans to major in Political Science at DePaul.
