Carbone/Smith fall in semifinals; rack up 10-2 record on the weekend
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – DePaul women's tennis closed out its stay in Bowling Green on Sunday afternoon as Greta Carbone and Hannah Smith fell in the semifinal round of the Dynamic Duo.

The Blue Demon pair got off to a strong start, overpowering Toledo's Cassie Alcala and Gaby Rondon, 8-3, in doubles. Carbone and Smith dropped their singles matches in straight sets as the contingent from Toledo went on to claim the title. Despite the setback, the DePaul duo racked up a 10-2 record on the weekend.

Following a weekend off from competition, the Blue Demons will travel to South Bend, Ind. for the ND Hidden Duals, Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
