Women’s Tennis Travels to South Bend for Notre Dame Hidden Duals

CHICAGO – The DePaul women's tennis team will resume fall competition, Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
The Blue Demons are set to face Harvard on Friday, Kentucky on Saturday and Columbia on Sunday in the hidden dual format. All matches on the weekend are set to take place outdoors at Notre Dame's Courtney Tennis Center.
DePaul heads into the hidden dual after a strong start to the fall campaign at the BGSU Dynamic Duo, Sept. 15-17. All four Blue Demon tandems advanced to the Quarterfinals of the draw, while Greta Carbone and Hannah Smith appeared in the Semifinals of the event. Carbone and Smith posted a perfect 5-0 doubles record in Bowling Green.
Mayya Perova and Yuliya Kizelbasheva both went 2-0 on the singles courts while Carbone earned three wins to advance to the final day of the draw.
Following their stint at Notre Dame, the Blue Demons will compete at the ITA Midwest Regionals, Oct. 12-15, in East Lansing, Mich.
