CHICAGO – DePaul softball has announced the signing of four student-athletes for the 2025-26 season.
"The 2025 class has a combination of power, speed, and athleticism that will provide depth and flexibility in our roster," said head coach Liz Bouck-Jagielski.
"Not only are they physically talented, but they also have the mental grit to get the job done in high pressure situations. We are excited to see the immediate impact they make to catapult our status in the BIG EAST conference."
Katie Borges, a middle infielder from San Pedro, California, brings experience from USA Athletics and San Pedro High School. Borges is a three-time All Marine League selection.
Outfielder Emersyn Coulter hails from Colgate, Wisconsin, bringing experience from Beverly Bandits Softball and Germantown High School. The left-handed batter led her high school squad with a .500 batting average and .556 on base percentage.
Addy Poe, an outfielder from Indianpolis, Indiana, has helped lead Roncalli High School to a 6-0 conference record each of the past three years, ranking first in the state in both 2022 and 2023. Poe also contributes experience from Beverly Bandits Softball.
Kailie Westphal, a utility player from Waupun, Wisconsin, brings experience from Wisconsin Outlawz Fastpitch and Waupun High School. Westphal was unanimously named first-team all-state, all-district, and all-conference in 2023, including recognition as the conference player of the year.
