Blue Demons to celebrate Senior Day on Sunday
CHICAGO – DePaul volleyball will conclude their home schedule with two matches at McGrath-Phillips Arena, facing No. 5 Creighton on Friday, November 22 at 7 p.m. and RV Marquette on Sunday, November 24 at 12 p.m. Both matches can be streamed on Marquee Sports Network here.
Sunday will serve as the DePaul Senior Day celebration, where the program's six seniors, Ashley Cudiamat, Hanna Karl, Aly Kindelberger, Audrey Klemp, Jill Pressly, and Rachel Krasowski will be honored.
"Fittingly, this weekend will be an incredible way to celebrate our seniors and everything they have given to this program," said head coach Marie Zidek.
"They have shown courage and bravery in being one of my biggest classes to come through those doors, ready and willing to take responsibility for the chase. We talk about leaving the jersey better than you found it, and the legacy of this class will be felt in the future success this program is poised to have because of their competitive energy."

We believe that DePaul volleyball can reach these higher gears, and we have worked persistently to put action plans into place that can bring us closer to these goals. Marquette is the proof that a program can build in this league and go from the bottom to the top with players who believe and play hard. Both opponents this weekend are going to be awesome to sharpen our swords against."

DePaul opens postseason play in Omaha, Nebraska at the BIG EAST tournament. Their first match is slated for Wednesday, November 27, with opponent and match time to be determined upon conclusion of the regular season.

SCOUTING THE BLUEJAYS
- Creighton has qualified for the BIG EAST tournament for the 11th consecutive time behind an undefeated conference record and 18 match win streak dating back to September
- Three different Creighton players lead the BIG EAST in three different statistical categories across league matches – Kiara Reinhardt in blocks, Ava Martin in service aces, and Kendra Wait in assists
- Creighton leads the conference in all team statistics besides digs, where they rank fifth
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES
- Marquette enters the weekend after a pair of straight-set victories over Georgetown and Seton Hall, marking 14 three-set wins on the year for the Golden Eagles
- Middle blocker Hattie Bray tops the BIG EAST with a .423 hitting percentage, also holding the single-match record at .684 against Seton Hall
- In their last match against the Blue Demons on October 28, outside hitter Aubrey Hamilton recorded a career-high 28 kills, en route to a narrow five-set victory for the Golden Eagles

BLUE DEMON BITS
- Freshman Abby Cahill registered a career-high 16 digs against Providence on Sunday, her third career match in double-figures
- The Blue Demon duo of Jill Pressly and Rachel Krasowski continue to top the BIG EAST in kills and digs, respectively, with Pressly reaching 40th nationally and Krasowski sitting at 43rd
- DePaul has qualified for the BIG EAST tournament for the third time in four years, on the heels of handing Connecticut their lone home loss of the season
- As a team, the Blue Demons rank second in the league in assists across all matches at 13.01 per set, with Creighton being the only other team averaging 13.00 or more
SERIES STUFF
- The Bluejays hold the series lead 21-0 against the Blue Demons
- Marquette maintains the edge in the all-time series, 42-26, with the last DePaul victory occurring on November 1, 2008 in Lincoln Park
