Blue Demons open four-match road swing in New York
CHICAGO – The Blue Demons continue November as they head to Queens, New York to face St. John's on Friday, November 8, seeking a repeat victory over the Red Storm. DePaul then heads south to Villanova, Pennsylvania to battle with the Wildcats on Saturday, November 9. Both matches are slated to commence at 6 p.m. CT, with streaming on ESPN+ Friday, and FloCollege Saturday.
"Classic BIG EAST weekend ahead of us," said head coach Marie Zidek.
"Both opponents play completely different styles of volleyball and we need to go through both of them if we have hopes of chasing a BIG EAST tournament berth. St. John's is led by one of the best pure volleyball players in the country in Erin Jones and Villanova is led by a compliment of veteran leadership in Abby Harrell and Taylor Jakubowski, and their new players who haven't let that program miss a beat this year. I think both matches are going to come down to situational moments and the team that can execute in these important moments will be the victor."
