Women’s Tennis Blanked in Weekend Finale

BOCA RATON, Fla. – DePaul women's tennis fell to Florida Atlantic 4-1 in their final match of the weekend in the Sunshine State. In a match moved to the morning due to expected inclement weather in the area, the two sides began with singles action, playing until the Owls clinched the dual with a win at No. 1

Emily Casati proved to be the bright spot for the Blue Demons at No. 6, winning the first set 6-0 before her match went unfinished.

The Blue Demons were overmatched throughout the rest of the lineup, falling in straight sets on courts 1-4. Playing her second match at No. 1 this weekend, Hannah Smith forced a second set tiebreak but ultimately dropped the match.
