Michelle Sidor Selected to Compete in State Farm 3-Point Championship

Blue Demon guard to take part in three-point shootout Thursday on ESPN
PHOENIX – DePaul women's basketball graduate student Michelle Sidor has been selected to compete in the Hanes Women's 3-Point Championship at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix on Thursday, April 4. Sidor is one of eight players that will participate in the 3-point competition, which will air live on ESPN at 8 p.m. CT.
Sidor led DePaul in made three-point goals and three-point field goal percentage in 2023-24. The Upper Saddle River, N.J. native knocked down 58 triples on the season including 10 games with three or more made triples. Sidor connected from deep at a 40-percent clip which ranked eighth in the BIG EAST.
The roster of participants includes fellow BIG EAST competitors Unique Drake (St. John's) and Rachel Kent (Butler) in addition to Syracuse's Dyaisha Fair and Sara Scalia from Indiana.
Sidor joins a long lineage of Blue Demons who have participated in the 3-point shootout including Lexi Held (2022), Megan Podkowa (2016), Brittany Hrynko (2015), Allie Quigley (2008), Jenni Dant (2005) and Kim Williams (1997).
