CHICAGO – DePaul Vice President and Director of Athletics DeWayne Peevy announced today a change in leadership of the DePaul softball program. Tracie Adix-Zins has been relieved of her duties as head coach at the conclusion of her sixth season.Â
"After evaluating the current state of our softball program, we decided to make a change in the head coaching position," said Peevy. "I want to thank Coach Adix-Zins for her hard work and dedication to advancing our program. Unfortunately, we did not meet our competitive goals."
Adix-Zins went 125-133 (.484) in six seasons as the head coach at DePaul. The Blue Demons finished the 2023-24 season with a 9-38 record. Â
The university will immediately begin a national search for the next head softball coach. Karla Ross, Associate Head Coach, has been appointed as interim head coach. Â
