Brown Suits Up for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Semifinals

The Blue Demon is set to race in Eugene, Ore.
CHICAGO – DePaul Track and Field's Darius Brown suits up for the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Semifinals beginning on Wednesday, June 5 in Eugene, Ore. at Hayward Field. The Blue Demon competes in the men's 110m hurdles at 7:32 pm CT. Fans can watch the race on ESPN2 and keep up with live results here.
Tomorrow, Brown competes in heat one out of three. The top-two from each heat plus the next three fastest times are set to advance to the final.
The Louisville native punched his ticket to the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 24 at the West Preliminary Rounds in Fayetteville, Ark. The junior broke his school record in the event for a third time this season with a new personal best time of 13.42.
Brown finished second in his heat, taking seventh overall in the event while smashing his previous school record of 13.56 that he broke just days prior to get to the quarterfinals.
