DePaul returns to Gately Indoor for Saturday meet
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field readies for its first competition of 2025, on Saturday, January 11, at the Wisconsin Midwest Invite, hosted at the Blue Demons' home facility, Gately Indoor. Field events begin at 3 p.m. CT, with running events to follow.
The Wisconsin Midwest Invite will feature a competitive field, including host Wisconsin, along with Chicago State, DePaul, Milwaukee, Northern Illinois, and UIC. Fans can follow live results online here and purchase tickets at Ticketweb.com.
DePaul comes into the meet riding the momentum from a strong performance at the Blue Demon Holiday Classic last month. Other top performances included senior Kash Allen breaking the meet record in the women's shot put, Claire Dunn's victory in the 400m Dash, and a commanding win by the women's 4x400m relay team. On the men's side, Darius Brown impressed in the sprints, Joshua Edmonds captured gold in the 400m Dash, and freshman Jaiden Gary delivered a personal record in the shot put.
