Blue Demons Announce Anticipated 2025-26 Slate

Revamped squad eyes postseason success entering Dopek’s 16th year at the helm
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field unveiled its 2025-26 indoor and outdoor schedules on Wednesday morning. The Blue Demons are set to host multiple meets in Chicago and return to a familiar mix of regional competition, joined by new additions, as they pursue postseason success in Director of Cross Country/Track & Field David Dopek's 16th year leading the program.
DePaul opens the indoor campaign at the Blue & Gold Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on Dec. 5, followed by the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston the next day. The Blue Demons will host the Blue Demon Holiday Invite on Dec. 12, marking the first of two home events at the Gately Indoor Track & Field Center this winter.
After a short break, competition resumes in January with stops in Chicago, Naperville, and Champaign before returning to Notre Dame for a stretch of key meets, including the Notre Dame Invitational (Jan. 24) and Meyo Invitational (Jan. 30-31).
The Blue Demons will host the Blue Demon Alumni Classic on Feb. 13, serving as Senior Day and a final tune-up before the BIG EAST Indoor Championships, also set for Gately Indoor from Feb. 27-28. Qualifiers will then advance to the NCAA Indoor National Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., Mar. 13-14.
Outdoor competition begins Mar. 20-21 at UCF's Black & Gold Invitational in Orlando. The April slate brings a mix of Midwest/coastal competition, highlighted by appearances at the Chicagoland Championships, South Florida Invitational, Bryan Clay Invitational, and the Drake Relays.
DePaul will head to Champaign for the Gary Weineke Memorial on May 1-2 before shifting into postseason action at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships (May 14-16) in Storrs, Conn. NCAA qualifiers will compete at the West Preliminary Rounds in Fayetteville, Ark., followed by the NCAA Final Rounds in Eugene, Ore., from June 10-13.
