DePaul Men’s Soccer Announces Spring Slate

Blue Demons to play five matches against regional opponents this fall
CHICAGO -- DePaul men's soccer head coach Mark Plotkin announced the program's spring schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The Blue Demons will play five matches against local and regional opponents over the course of March and April.
DePaul will open the spring campaign on Sunday, March 2 against Green Bay at the Indoor Sports Center at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two in Rockford, Ill. First touch is scheduled for 8 p.m.
On Saturday, March 8 DePaul will make the short trip to South Bend, Ind. to take on Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Competition resumes April 5 with the first match of the Chicago Cup against Loyola Chicago at 4 p.m. The Blue Demons will take on either Northwestern or UIC on Wednesday, April12. Both matches are set to take place on Northwestern's campus.
Plotkin and Co. will wrap up the spring schedule with a second trip to Rockford for a tilt against Wisconsin on April 18. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
DePaul returns 22 letterwinners from last season's BIG EAST Tournament team while adding in a trio of transfers this winter including Gavin Netzel (North Carolina), Tyler Flowers (Penn State) and Joon Han (Salt Lake Community).
