15 Blue Demons Secure Track and Field All-BIG EAST Honors

DePaul earns 17 medals at 2025 BIG EAST Indoor Championships
CHICAGO – 15 DePaul track and field student-athletes earned All-BIG EAST honors; the conference announced Wednesday afternoon. The All-Conference squad consists of BIG EAST competitors who finished in the top three in any individual or relay event at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships, Feb. 28–March 1 at Gately Park in Chicago.
DePaul capped the weekend with two top-four team finishes, fueled by a strong mix of veteran leadership and emerging talent. The Blue Demons also claimed five individual BIG EAST titles and set a pair of school records. Freshman Sade Miller broke the program record in the women's 60m dash, while the women's 4x400m relay team of Kayliah Motes, Sonja Nagle, Claire Dunn, and Nadja Moll also set a school record.
In the field events, Alex Bernstein defended his BIG EAST title in the men's weight throw, while Jaiden Gary earned his first medal in BIG EAST competition. On the track, Miller, Darius Brown, and Demetrius Rolle each secured individual championships. Brown not only won the men's 60m hurdles but also set a new BIG EAST Indoor Championships record with a time of 7.61. Rolle dominated the men's 60m dash, crossing the finish line in 6.73 to earn his first BIG EAST title.
